Sand Separator SP

The SP Sand Separator can be used for grit separation directly from wastewater or after sand traps.

Turbulent inflow is slowed down by a special deflector. Sand particles settle to the base of the hopper tank and are transported out by an inclined screw conveyor. During this process, the sand is washed to remove organic solids.

The screw conveyor is driven by an electric motor connected via a worm reducer.

All structural parts are made of stainless steel AISI 304. A control panel can be provided as an option. Simple construction and easy operation reduce need of the labour to a minimum.
